Registrations and Timeline
As required by the ministry, all new drivers must complete our MTO-Approved course within 12 months of the course start date. It is not recommended to start the in-vehicle training near the end of the 12 month expiration period. Students must schedule their required 10 hrs. of in-vehicle lessons within 4-6 weeks before expiring to avoid delay in processing the MTO-Certification. An instructor may Not be available to complete the 10 hrs. of in-vehicle lessons within 1-2 week notice.
Personal Information
I certify that the statements in this document are accurate and consent to the release of any information contained herein to the Ministry of Transportation, Insurance Bureau of Canada and the auditing firm retained by the Ministry.
MTO Certification
You must successfully complete the 30 hours of in-class/online theory and the 10 hours of in-vehicle training within 12 months of the course start date to be certified by the Ministry. No refund or certification will be granted to students that have not successfully completed our drivers Ed program within the 12 months period. All hours purchased and fees paid will be considered invalid after the 12 months period.
In-Vehicle Cancellation Policy
Please be advised, you must give your instructor 24 hours notice before cancelling any In-Car Lesson(s). A $40/hour fee will be charged for all cancellation requests made in less than 24 hours notice.
Digital eLearning
You may start your online eLearning course at any time after registration. The course start date starts on the day you activate your online eLearning account. There is not charge to switch to in-person class if the online eLearning account has not yet been activated. A $50 fee will be charged if a student wishes to switch to in-person class once the online eLearning account has been activated. It is not recommended to booking the in-vehicle lessons before finishing the online eLearning/in-person course.
Refunds/Course Cancellations
All tuition fees are non-refundable. You maybe eligible for a partial refund if a student has not scheduled any in-vehicle lessons. Please contact our office for more information.
